LED pool lighting
Masters of landscape design, exterior artists and interior designers have unanimously recognized the lighting that allows you to clearly focus attention on small and intricate architectural elements - these are lamps based on LEDs. Such materials have opened up huge opportunities for artistic lighting professionals, as they allow to strictly emphasize complex decorative elements that are inaccessible to ordinary lamps.
To top it all off, LED pool lighting has a number of distinct advantages, which include low energy consumption, an unprecedentedly long service life, and the absence of infrared radiation. Such pool lights practically do not heat up during operation, and the protection is provided by absolute tightness, thanks to which the LED strip functions in all weather conditions and is great for finishing both indoor and outdoor pools. net.ua/Pics/Bassein/Bassein_007.jpg" alt="" width="427" height="323" align="right" border="0">
The mood is changeable and is accompanied by a change in surrounding factors, from the color of clothes to the choice of a book for the upcoming sleep. Pool lighting can be easily changed, just like the melody on a tape recorder and help create and maintain the necessary environment. It is possible to control color and dynamic light effects from the remote control, and observing the overflow of shades, the illusory movement of contours, record the time that you liked the most at the moment, which corresponds to your inner state. In addition, a person can independently set various scenarios - from relaxing lighting during evening bathing to festive accompaniment of night parties. Desires and needs are compatible!
Illumination of pleasure pools is not the cheapest, but any financial costs cannot be compared to the pleasure received during a romantic dinner with a glass of your favorite drink and in the company of the desired person...
Lamps for swimming pools
But, as you know, water and electricity are complex things, so in order to avoid problems and get the most functional and safe product, you need to buy lamps for pools with a high degree of protection from moisture, solid bodies, dust. These parameters are indicated in the technical documentation, which is attached to the lamps for the pool. When buying lamps for pools, you should pay attention to such a characteristic as the Index of Protection (IP). This indicator should be at least 68. The first digit of this index determines the degree of protection against dust and solid bodies (6, as in this case, accordinginternal protection against them getting inside the device), and the second number indicates the level of resistance of the device to the influence of moisture (level 8 has devices that do not have a time limit when constantly in water).
An important nuance that must be taken into account before buying lamps for the pool is the protection of bathers from possible electric shock. Various technologies are used for this. This is a high degree of sealing of the wiring and the lighting devices themselves, the use of lamps with low voltage. ="364" height="244" align="right" border="0" hspace="10" vspace="10">
Underwater lamps with a power of 50 W are installed in hydromassage baths, where the water depth does not exceed one meter, and in pools more powerful lamps are used for local lighting (a 100 W lamp can illuminate 10-12 sq. m of the pool surface, and a 300 W porthole illuminates 15–20 sq. m.
Lamps for swimming pools are different in their design. They can be overhead and built-in. To service such devices, a special tunnel can be built around the pool, but they can be serviced without it, but simply from the pool bowl. If such a tunnel exists, then the pool lamps are built into the structure from the side of the inner walls, but with this installation, access to the lighting devices from the inside of the bowl is excluded. All the benefits are clear - to service the lamps for the pool, it is not necessary to drain the water from the bowl, to implement the second option of access to the devices, it will be necessary to drain the water.
One of the advanced solutions in pool lighting is fiber optic systems that can set off real fireworks in the water. Despite the high cost of this method, it is increasingly used because of its absolute safety in water. Pool lights of this series consist of a fiber optic system that is the light source and a fiber optic cable that directly transmits the light. The peculiarity of this system is that the emitter itself can be mounted far from water and its contact with moisture can be completely excluded. If you decide to buy lamps for pools of this type, you will receive an individual and unique project for your pool. Fiber optic equipment will serve you well for a long time (in a light source with a power of 150 W, the resource of the device is more than 13 thousand hours, which is enough for 20 years of operation of the pool, at medium intensity).
Along with modern pool lights that are on sale and manufactured using the most advanced technologies, traditional solutions are also used. The most common of them are underwater portholes (spotlights). They are embedded in various places under water. The set of such a lamp includes all the components for its installation and successful operation: a safety cup, a halogen lamp (power from 50 to 300 W) and a connecting cable with a high degree of waterproofing. However, do not forget that safety requirements allow these devices to be powered by 12 V electrical voltage (therefore, step-down transformers will be required).
Recently, LED lights and ribbons are becoming more and more popular when illuminating the water in pools.

LED floodlights of both monochrome (one-color) and multi-color RGB are used to illuminate pools. The use of RGB floodlights allows you to achieve unique light dynamic effects, extremely long service life, high reliability of LEDs makes such a lighting system practically maintenance-free,and low energy consumption reduces the cost of electricity supply to almost zero. LED tape is widely used for contour illumination of the surface and selection of some elements, the use of LED lines allows you to create all kinds of light effects on the walls of the pool (flame effect and much more). Ideas for the use of LEDs when lighting pools are limited only by your or the designer's imagination.
